Welcoming the Weird

WILDLY BIZARRE is an album collaboration
between the non-profit Weird and Wonderful
Animal Conservation and various artists to
celebrate the lesser known “weird” endangered animals. Uncanny collage animal heads,
eye catching colors, and less-than-ordinary typefaces all come together to create the beauty
in the bizarre. A series of equally bizarre merch is available alongside the album.

This project came to life during my Advanced Type class where the goal was to design a collaboration album between a non-profit and various artists.
My intention with the project was to raise awareness for the “ugly” endangered species that don’t get the same mainstream attention as animals such as the panda and tiger.
