The Horrors of Food Waste

In this campaign for Feeding America, the harrowing 40% statistic is used to convey the horrors of food waste.
This project uses retro horror visuals and haunting copy to convey the grave misfortune that befalls produce
when it goes to waste. Textures and halftones along with dark muted colors were used to enhance the retro feel. #THEFORSAKEN40 encourages food shoppers to think before they buy.

This project came to life during my Campaign for Social Good class where the goal was to advertise a social good
cause for an existing non profit. My intention with the project was to bring awareness to how much total food waste happens every year in America.
